Charlotte's First Birthday!

Be prepared for photo overload!

 

The theme I, we, I went with started with a color palette and transformed into an awesome Tea Party!

I am sooooo overwhelmingly happy with how everything turned out!

And, the most important thing - EVERYONE had fun!

 

 

 

I made a chalkboard poster of Charlotte's stats for the front door

 

 

 

We had fun (I think? Well, I did!) making the decorations,

planning the food, and setting everything up.

Then it was time for CAKE!!

Ok, so I wanted to make a cake that looked like this:

 

 

But, come to find out, you need Buttercream and NOT Whipped icing to make it do that.

 

The icing started melting halfway through.
I guess whipped cream loses its form if it gets hot.
 

Oh well, she didn't know...
